Swast-Srijani, a visionary initiative of Swastome, envisions a healthier and more equitable future inspired by the spirit of “सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः”- may all be free from disease. Grounded in the belief that true well-being is incomplete without prioritizing women’s health, the initiative is committed to addressing long-standing gaps through awareness, science, and compassionate care.

Why was Swast-Srijani born, and what gap in women’s health and dignity does it seek to address?

The most compassionate soul, nurturer of generations and creator of life, needs no introduction; she is “Mother”, “माँ” or “Amma”. Yet, this reverence remains largely symbolic, while the everyday realities of women tell a far more troubling story.

Women’s issues are still treated as matters of justice rather than as fundamental rights. Women’s health remains a far-fetched concern for many in society. It continues to be shrouded in myths and superstitions, where even the basic rights of women regarding natural biological processes such as menstruation are often ignored.

In India, nearly 1 in 3 women face malnutrition, 1 in 5 adolescent girls are married before 18, and millions lack access to basic reproductive and menstrual healthcare.

How is Swast-Srijani transforming women’s health and empowering communities?

Swastome aims to promote evidence-based education, build data-driven insights, and engage communities through digital platforms that everyone can access and understand.
